Established in 2012 with the support of the Maison Van Cleef & Arpels, the aim of L’ÉCOLE, School of Jewelry Arts, is to share the jewelry culture to a large and varied audience, both in France and abroad. Through offering an a la carte program of courses, talks and exhibitions, accessible to everyone with no pre-requisites, L’ÉCOLE welcomes the public to learn about the savoir faire of jewelry-making techniques, the world of precious stones, and the art history of jewelry

School of Jewelry Arts NYC

Discover the secrets of the jewelry world

Located at Place Vendôme in Paris, the first and original L’ÉCOLE was established with a goal to share its knowledge with the world. Every year, L’ÉCOLE travels to different destinations to meet its students and offer them, in their country, an a la carte program of courses, talks or exhibitions. L’ÉCOLE regularly comes to New York City to invite the public to immerse themselves in the art of jewelry guided by leading experts.

A showcase of exceptional gemstones and precious objects

L’ÉCOLE is also dedicated to advancing the appreciation of jewelry through exhibitions that are free and open to the public. By collaborating with collectors and contemporary artists, these exhibitions offer a rare opportunity to the public to see private and exceptional works that highlight the many facets of the jewelry arts. From October 25 to November 9, 2018, L’ÉCOLE hosted in New York City three exceptional exhibitions.
